Overview

The eBay Now Kiosk Prototype explored how eBay’s on-demand local courier service (eBay Now) could be experienced through a dedicated, large-format physical touch point in high-traffic urban locations, offices, and transit hubs.

Alongside the software interface, our team co-designed a completely revised physical kiosk enclosure—featuring a slimmer profile, a 65-inch LED display, integrated Kinect and HD camera bays, and modular hardware input panels for magnetic card swipers, NFC/RFID scanners, and receipt printers. This industrial design became the hardware foundation for subsequent kiosk initiatives across the Human Interface Group.
